Elon Musk is said to be working on monetization tools and a Twitter coin, but its relationship to Dogecoin (DOGE) remains unclear.

Twitter is reportedly working on monetization tools and Twitter coin. App researchers Nima Owji and Jane Manchun Wong discovered a "Coins" section in Twitter's hidden tooltips. Elon Musk previously suggested the adoption of Dogecoin (DOGE) in Twitter payments.

However, it is unclear whether the new rumored coin will use Dogecoin or other cryptocurrencies. The price of Dogecoin exploded almost 6 years after the news and peaked at $0.111.

Jane Manchun Wong also posted instructions for enabling this feature and checking for changes. Additionally, the code doesn't clearly say what "Twitter Tips" and "Twitter Coin" are, nor does it mention whether it's related to Musk's favorite self-coin, DOGE.

Is Elon Musk Really Working On Twitter Coin?

Twitter CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that he is working to implement payments that accept fiat and cryptocurrencies. In addition, Musk has repeatedly hinted at integrating Dogecoin with Twitter since taking over the social media giant. Despite recent rumors about a "Twitter coin" and activity on Twitter, Elon Musk has not yet confirmed the news.

In addition, Jane Manchun Wong deleted her Twitter account immediately after tweeting more than 6% of Twitter coin and DOGE. Some claim that he has completely disappeared from the Internet, including Discord, Instagram, Reddit, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Elon Musk worked to restore some accounts banned by Twitter. Musk has banned ten Dogecoin tweet accounts in the past week. He is also  bullish on Dogecoin saying "Dogecoin to the Moon".
